March 5th and all the preceding days that I didn’t write about …

                I’m not feeling very inspired to write lately. I seem to be trying to figure out how to write the same things in a new way. Boooorrrriiinng! So, I won’t be updating daily unless something new or important or exciting is happening daily. I will update at least weekly so you all know I haven’t given in and said “screw it” to getting healthy.
                I’m working harder than ever and exercising harder than ever. I could be eating much healthier, but even that is a gazillion times better than just a couple of months ago. For example, today I started using honey in my coffee instead of sugar. I don’t like it. But I will at some point and I’ll tolerate it until then.
                I’ve been going to Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy for my neck, upper back, and shoulders. I’ve learned some new stretches and exercises that have really helped. My range of motion has improved more than I ever thought possible in just a matter of weeks. My Ibuprofen intake has decreased by half.
                Last weekend I learned how to play Pickle Ball. For anyone who isn’t familiar, it’s basically ping pong, using a whole basketball court instead of a table, hitting a Wiffle ball, over a low volleyball net. Running, stretching, diving, jumping, juking, laughing, cheering, and trash talking – more fun than anything I’ve done in a long time. And since I was with Jake, Kayla, Kam, Kyrsten and Kloe, all having fun and being healthy together, it was an even sweeter experience for me. We plan to go every weekend. ☮
