March 18, 2020                 I’m too overwhelmed to share much. Working out was going great. Now my gym is closed, along with schools and many other places, and we’re trying to isolate as much as possible in order to hopefully help slow the spread of Covid-19. I’m sad and I’m scared. As far as working towards a healthier me, I haven’t been getting any exercise in the past few days. I am still making healthy choices as far as food and drink – mostly. I had a Pepsi and a little bag of Funyuns for breakfast this morning. But other than that. ☮

March 6-9, 2020

March 6-9, 2020                  Side notes: 1. Friday was a rest day. 2. I know I worked out Saturday but it must have been uneventful because I don't remember what I did or how it went. 3. Pickle ball didn't happen this weekend. I was ready to go but I can't play it by myself. Hopefully next weekend.                 I got back on the elliptical yesterday. My thought had been that maybe in six months or a year I’d try it again. Yesterday the thought popped into my head and I went over and got on the elliptical. If you recall from my very first day at PF, on January 28, 2020, I stayed on for one minute at time for a total of five minutes. I then lost almost all function in my legs for quite a few minutes, and over the following week, the pain caused me to walk like I’d had my legs severely beaten with a baseball bat. March 5 th and all the preceding days that I didn’t write about …                 I’m not feeling very inspired to write lately. I seem to be trying to figure out how to write the same things in a new way. Boooorrrriiinng! So, I won’t be updating daily unless something new or important or exciting is happening daily. I will update at least weekly so you all know I haven’t given in and said “screw it” to getting healthy.                 I’m working harder than ever and exercising harder than ever. I could be eating much healthier, but even that is a gazillion times better than just a couple of months ago. For example, today I started using honey in my coffee instead of sugar. I don’t like it. But I will at some point and I’ll tolerate it until then.              ...
