Today may have been rest day, but I still took advantage of the PF massage and hydro-massage chairs! My legs are still extremely sore, especially if I sit still for very long. Gotta keep moving!
January 28, 2020 Everything seemed to be conspiring against my plans to start working out. I joined Planet Fitness a month ago online for the new gym opening a couple blocks away. It was still under construction and didn’t open until the end of the first week of January. I left the state the same day it opened. After a physically and emotionally stressful five-day trip, my neck was so kinked it gave me headaches that I couldn’t get rid of. And then I was tired. I’m working a lot. More warm up time and arm movements should help prevent it. Okay. Last night was rough. I’d taken a couple Ibuprofen and had a warm rice sock on my neck. It was my legs that ached though. From the knees down. And my wrists. Oh, and my elbows. After tossing and turning for an hour, I finally grabbed some ice packs for my legs. I laid them on my shins. After a minute, I moved them to my knees. Then my ankles. I rotated them around until they were warm and I was finally able to get some sleep. ...
